Cryocube was founded from a deeply personal journey.
In 2019, Lee Powell and Anthony Olding opened what became one of the first biohacking and wellness clinics in Wales. The clinic was born from a desire to support Anthony during his battle with advanced prostate cancer and to explore therapies that could complement his conventional treatment.
Determined to leave no stone unturned, Lee and Anthony travelled extensively, researching and testing some of the world's most innovative recovery and wellness technologies. Their mission was simple: to find effective ways to support healing, improve wellbeing, and help people perform at their best.
As word spread about their approach, the clinic quickly gained recognition. Athletes, business leaders, and individuals from all walks of life began seeking out the therapies and expertise available at Cryocube. Through years of working closely with clients, one treatment consistently stood out above the rest: Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT).
The impact HBOT had on both recovery and wellbeing was remarkable. For Anthony, it became an essential part of his personal health journey. He believed the therapy helped support his body during treatment by increasing oxygen delivery throughout the body, enhancing recovery, boosting energy levels, and helping him maintain a higher quality of life throughout an incredibly challenging period.
As demand for HBOT continued to grow, so did a new challenge. Many people who could benefit from treatment were unable to travel to the clinic due to distance, mobility issues, health conditions, or busy schedules. Rather than letting these barriers stand in the way, we looked for a solution.
This led to the launch of our portable Hyperbaric Oxygen Chamber hire service, allowing clients to receive treatment from the comfort of their own homes. What began as a way to make therapy more accessible quickly evolved into the core of our business.
Today, Cryocube supplies Hyperbaric Oxygen Chambers to clients across the United Kingdom. Our team continues to grow as we support more individuals looking to improve recovery, manage fatigue, support rehabilitation, enhance performance, and prioritise their overall wellbeing.
What makes our story unique is its foundation. Cryocube wasn't built from a business plan alone, it was built from determination, hope, and a genuine desire to help someone fight for their health. That same passion continues to drive everything we do today.
